The Northern Lights, Alaska
This isnât a particular attraction, but itâs essential for any bucket list. The Northern Lights are incredible to witness. In Alaska, you can rent an adorable igloo to watch them in! This is just one example â there are many other places to witness the Northern Lights in Alaska. The Chena Hot Springs is amazing as well.

This national park is filled with over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. The massive Delicate Arch in the east is one of the most photographed arches in the park.

Grand Canyon, Arizona
Although weâve already shared the gorgeous Havasu Falls that are located in the Grand Canyon, you may not be cut out for an 8-mile hike. Even so, the Grand Canyon itself is an incredible sight and one of the must-see places in the USA.

The Wave, Arizona
This sandstone rock formation is another incredible sight in Arizona. The only drawback is that you need to apply in advance for permits (four months before your desired trip is recommended). Unfortunately, no spontaneous trips can be had here. However, itâs well worth the wait.

Multnomah Falls, Oregon

Ocala National Forest, Florida
The Ocala National Forest is a beautiful, unique experience. There are a number of beautiful areas inside the forest to visit. Angel Oak, South Carolina
You might think a trip to visit a tree would be silly, but wait until you see the Angel Oak. This massive live oak tree extends over 2,000 square yards. Itâs estimated to be 400â500 years old! It looks like it came right out of a Harry Potter movie.

Turnip Rock, Michigan
Turnip Rock is one of the more unusual places to visit in the USA. Even so, itâs a unique sight to behold, especially in the winter when covered in snow. This small geological formation isnât visited very often as it requires a 7-mile kayak to get there. If youâre up for the task, itâs a beautiful rock.
